Cheesy Rich and Creamy Shrimp and Crab Spinach Dip
Decadent Hot Spinach Dip with Shrimp, Crab, and Three Cheeses
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 pound shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
1/2 pound lump crab meat, drained and picked over for shells
1 (10 oz) package frozen spinach, thawed and well-drained
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Crackers, bread, or vegetables, for serving
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add chopped shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes, until just pink. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
Stir in spinach, cooked shrimp, crab meat, mozzarella, Parmesan, Monterey Jack, and Old Bay seasoning. Season with salt and pepper.
Transfer the mixture to a greased 1-quart baking dish and smooth the top.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly and the top is lightly golden.
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm with dippers of choice.
